Moliko Lekhera

Moliko is the Growing Nations General Manager & Trainer who has been responsible for the day to day running of all aspects of Growing Nations work since 2014.  He is also responsible for the co-ordination of Agri-Business development at Growing Nations, helping to identify ways in which Growing Nations can become more self sustainable in the longer term.

His role includes overseeing and having a good understanding of all aspects of Growing Nations work across the different departments, building relationships & networking with government departments & NGO's (Non Government Organisations).  Moliko has a passion for agri-business bevelopment and co-ordinates this aspect of Growing Nations work, overseeing and monitoring seed production, including liaison with the Lesotho Ministry of Agriculture to ensure that all seed production is carried out in accordance with government policies & proceedures.

Moliko studied Agricultural at the Lesotho Agricultural College and then spent a year as one of the first Growing Nations resident students at Maphutseng, learning about Farming God's Way.  He subsequently went on to complete a degree in Agricultural Economics at the National University of Lesotho & also spent a year participating in the Mennonite Central Committee (MCC) International Volunteer Exchange Program (IVEP) in the USA during 2011/12.
